The product is okay, it's not a waste of money!

Initially, I did not want to take a regular iPad, because. I was looking for a replacement for a netbook that traveled with me around the world. The operating time, weight and dimensions of the netbook strained. Minik solved almost all of these issues. Yes, some features appeared: you could always connect an external hard drive to a netbook and upload photos from flash drives. I solved this problem easier: I bought a couple more flash drives. Minik solves almost the entire range of my tasks: managing expenses / income, viewing documents, quick file exchange, watching videos, Internet banking, education, entertainment. If a more powerful Minik 2 comes out, then I will definitely take it with 64 GB on board.

: mini 2 came out with Retina display and other useful things. Definitely take with more memory on board.

Pros

- Excellent replacement for a netbook: netbook weight ~ 1.5 kg with charging, Minik weight ~ 0.35 kg with charging. - Long battery life (10h VS 5h) - Ergonomics. If you use the mini in a horizontal position, then due to text correction, the typing speed is not much inferior to the typing speed on a regular keyboard or a netbook one. - Instant on and off compared to a netbook (even with an SSD). - Smoothness of the menu and the entire interface in general (compared to other Android tablets). - Of course, AppStore! - The presence of a SIM card: no need to look for a Wi-Fi point.

Cons

- 16 GB. When I bought it, I thought it would be enough for everything I need. As it turned out - absolutely not enough. Magazines, games, photos, applications, videos . all this instantly eats up memory. And if you have several devices and the photo stream is enabled, then even more so. In general, not so much a flaw as my miscalculation. - Screen. I really wish the screen was clearer. - Performance is low. Reading large pdf documents is problematic, it displays pages very slowly. - Nano-SIM is not available at all points of sale. - There is no possibility to change the size of the virtual keyboard. - No flash (it's a flashlight). - Does not play flash, except for Youtube and some others.
