Having a second charger for your main laptop or computer is great because you can carry one in your bag and leave the other at home. This is exactly what I do so I never have to think about the cord when I go anywhere. This is perfect for the Surface Book 3. The only downside is that the original connector has more spacing (which means the cable is longer from part of the connector to the big square box in the middle of the cable, and that makes it a bit awkward Sometimes when I stretch it to its full length To be clear, this charging cable box cannot hang in the air so you can't hold the cable anywhere without supporting that part of the box as it is quite heavy.
