We bought a receiver and 2 sensors in July 2020 for two reasons. First, we live in the country and have a hidden driveway about 500 feet long. Often someone would drive into our yard and end up on the doorstep before we realized we had company. This can be an unpleasant event. So the first sensor was attached to a tree at our entrance. There are no more surprises when someone visits us. Secondly, at the edge of the forest we have hungry creatures like bears and raccoons who happily feast on our birdseed and fat. They always do it under cover of darkness. The second sensor was placed near our bird sanctuary. We don't mind disrupting our sleep at night if it means chasing away uninvited animals and saving our feeding grounds. Additional information: In April 2021 we noticed that the receiver in the house was no longer working. On Sunday morning I emailed the company with no expectation of anything in return. But glory! I received an email from a representative the same day. She apologized for the problem and promised to send a new recipient. How nice when a real person answers and offers to solve the problem.
