It took some time to get these lights but for shipping overseas it was fine. I am replacing the factory dashboards on my 1984 Chevrolet C10 pickup. Not only did these lights come with new sockets, they are also perfectly interchangeable with old sockets. They have a good 6V to 10V diode range. The amp draw is negligible, especially compared to factory tubes. They flash at voltages below 6V, so you can experience this with minimal lighting. The only thing to add is that they are polarized. If they don't work the first time you connect them, flip them over. A+
