These were decent socks at $12. It's not what they seem. I ordered large and tall over calf 10/13, item shipped and arrived quickly. They appear to be more synthetic than cotton. They appear tubular, more like the middle of the lower leg. I tried them on, not bad. I put them in the laundry haha they shrunk to about child size and fell out. They look like I've had them for 3 months and only wear them for 8 hours. As you walk, it looks like you might slip off them. No compression. I threw them in the trash. Don't settle for low quality to save money. Buy only one gold sock along the entire length of the lower leg.
