I had two white straps and they connected the black color from the sleeves or the top of the jacket. I wear it for a couple of weeks until it gets too dirty and then swap it out for a new one. Then it got really bad. I put on a new white ribbon before going to the official Yule Ball where I wore a red dress. Catastrophe! The white stripe turned red along the *entire* edge of the stripe as well as a little bit in the middle. It looked so awful, so tasteless, so cheap. It was awkward. I'm done with those cheap straps! In real life they look a lot worse than on the picture, and that after 4 hours of wearing. :-(
