No more BIOS setting for PCIE slot on Gen 3! Confirmed that it works great on Gen 4 with EVGA 3090 FTW3 on Asus X570 board! I didn't realize the importance of having a Gen 4 capable cable until I updated my BIOS, reset my settings to Auto (resulting in my old vertical cable NOT working) and water cooled my hard tube graphics card is. . It wasn't much fun disconnecting the tube, putting the graphics card in a slot without a stand, putting the motherboard back into Gen 3, swapping the card back into the stand, plugging it back in and filling my loop.
