Review on Starrett 657Y Indicator Attachment Magnetic by Alex Jones

Excellent quality typical of Starrett. However, the 1/4" stem didn't fit my 8mm Noga magazine clip. I made a split collet out of an 8mm bolt by drilling a 1/4" bolt, tightening it to about a 10 mm length shortened and split it lengthwise Longitudinal cut side Now I can use this with my Mitutoyo bar and Noga magazine base display.
