First of all these are not N95 masks and as clearly stated in the description, will not fully protect you from infectious disease. However I believe the main intent will be to keep you from spreading the disease and I believe if all people in a room were wearing these masks, you each would be much safer from getting an infectious disease then not wearing any mask at all.Second many people complain they are manufactured in China. I'm going to venture to guess that all or overwhelmingly nearly all of these three ply masks are made in China, even if they say "shipped from the USA".Having said that, I believe these are a solid three ply masks compared to others I have used and Ebay offers a decent price and hopefully we are now at the point where they should be readily available. There are two features in these masks that separate them from some cheaper, possibly counterfeit varieties. One is, I separated out the middle layer and applied a lighter where it melted as opposed to catching on fire. I have read the cheaper ones burn like a piece of paper. Second the metal nose bridge really does a good job of keeping the masks relatively snug against your face. We have been distributed three layer masks at work (which I will not be wearing anymore after trying these), that don't come with a noise bridge and they are forever slipping down off of my nose and I exhibit the dangerous practice of touch the outside of the masks to pull these up.So in summary, I believe these are a decent mask to wear in an environment where other people are wearing masks as well and particularly, practicing safe distancing and I will be buying more.
