Review on Saaqaans Professional Hairdressing Scissors - Cutting and Thinning Shears for πŸ”ͺ Barbers, Hairdressers, Salons, Beauticians, and Home Use (Black Pair - Made in USA) by Manuel Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

good box. overpriced. Mediocre quality. Thinning scissors with locking mechanism

Comes in a nice box and is suitable for beginners. They will work well and last a long time, glad to have them as a backup pair. However, the quality is mediocre and there are better for the price. Thinning scissors have burrs on the blades or are slightly bent and stick/stick when used, do not work smoothly. I rarely use thinning scissors, so that doesn't bother me, but it does indicate a lower processing quality. Scissors are better, they work smoothly. But as you can see from my drawing, the blades aren't accurate either. Due to the gel pens, the diameter is too small to put my fingers in, I need to take them off. For this price you almost get a good pair of blades. Micro-serrated scissors that are much easier to use. The fact is that if you are a beginner or an amateur like me, cutting your hair already takes you longer than a pro. Having gear working against you only adds to the time and frustration, especially when you're cutting a kid's hair and asking for patience lol. I would recommend a higher quality micro-serrated blade for the same price - you don't get a storage box or thinning scissors, but you do get a better tool that will cut your hair in half the time.
