Build quality is sub par. Ducting around the bottom rim of the kettle is a very thin crimped aluminum build. This lack of thickness would do one or two things: 1) wear away with enough heat and use, 2) bend and cause uneven heat dispersion which could cause one or multiple hot spots within the kettle. These hot spots can and will diminish the life and use of this product. (View photos in this review) There is another review stating that the kettle became unuseable because there was a hole underneath the kettle. I can see this happening in the future with this item. The welds are slightly poor and the sturdiness/integrity of the item is weaker than what I had hoped. I gave it 2/5 stars due to the fact that I could get some decent use from this product, but being that this is an outdoors product, it simply would not last.
