These bun makers are much cheaper than others on the market. They work like old snap bracelets, only for your hair. The only problem I had was that the first time I used one of them, one side didn't stay straight which made it difficult to use. There's a bit of a learning curve, but they're easy once you get the hang of them. And there are four in a pack which is really nice if like me you tend to lose things lol.
