I read most of the reviews before purchasing this 10cm lavender scented topper! Most of the complaints from other buyers are as if there might be some kind of misunderstanding! At first I thought it was a $115 topper. And WOW, when I placed my order at checkout, they offered a $20 discount, I was so happy! Complaints from other buyers1. Do people complain that the topper cracked once it was taken out? Most likely, they forced a folded, unopened topper unfolded and tore it up! My advice: just remove the plastic wrap and let it breathe without trying to open it! "READ BEFORE OPENING" was said so clearly that toppers take 48 hours to open! Just remove the packaging and leave it alone! 2. Will the topper break over time? Actually I got a similar cooling attachment from another company at a higher price, it still has the same problem. So this time I placed a separate order for a waterproof zippered mattress cover so I can put my mattress and topper inside to reduce friction between the mattress, topper and bed sheet! These covers also protect against allergens, dust mites, bacteria, sweat, urine and liquids. I think it would be a good investment! 3. Is the lavender smell too strong? The same magic can solve this problem! Place a mattress topper over the topper and mattress so the smell isn't too strong! And it will come out slowly and last longer! 4. Does your back pain get worse after using this topper? One mattress cannot help all types of back pain. I am a massage therapist, have worked in a b4 chiropractic practice and I can tell you that different types of back pain require different types of mattresses and pillows. But as for me, I have tight shoulders, numb arm issues, so this mattress is soft enough to help me not bruise my shoulder while sleeping on the edge of the field! If you have any questions about the firmness of a mattress pad/mattress, I believe the customer service representatives at this company are ready to answer and suggest the right option for u!5. Does the mattress absorb heat and does it feel hot? In fact, this company doesn't advertise a mattress that can cool you down, they just compare it to an old foam pad/mattress and say this is cooler THAN the old fashioned one! If you really need cooling effects, I would advise you to buy a cooling gel! I love Lucid products, have received 2 mattresses and a topper from them in the last few years! They are not first class, not the best quality! But these are more valuable products at an affordable price! And yes, as you can see, I got bored waiting for my topper to expand. That's why I'm writing a long axx review for everyone! Hmmm, my topper fully expanded within an hour, time to go! I hope this review is helpful to other buyers!
