Review on πŸ‘Ά Baby Trend Sit and Stand 5-in-1 Shopper Stroller by Denese Fothergill

If you're on the fence: READ THIS!

Pros-* Parent Tray. I love that it's big enough to hold even a large drink like a tall Chick-fil-A drink, and you can fit a fairly large phone on the center console too. My phone doesn't fit in the little clips but I put it on top and it works great and I love this parent tray.*Baby tray! I think it's well thought out and designed and is perfect if you're putting snacks for your child on a baby tray. It's also good that you can move the baby handle to different positions, which I don't usually do because I like the tray all the time and I have no problem getting my baby in and out, but that's because it is small. As he gets older it will be easier for him to remove the carrycot so he can go down on his own, which is definitely a plus.* It's beautiful!* Very easy to assemble right out of the box.* Storage basket by the floor and an additional shopping basket. It was so well thought out. I love that it's magnetic and expands for sitting and standing. This works perfectly for me as I only use the stroller for one child, but you probably won't be able to use this feature with two children. I also love that the front is magnetic too and you can fold up the footrest to access the front storage. my car, which I found quite impressive. It also weighs 10 pounds less than my single stroller, although I still find it to be a fairly heavy stroller.* Canopy. I love that the canopy can cover the backrest for sitting and standing and the front seat at the same time or separately. I also love that you can move the canopy all the way down to the baby tray or all the way up to the parent tray, which not many strollers have. Many of the other strollers I researched didn't even have a seat and stand cover. The front seat is very soft and comfortable and my son doesn't mind riding in it, although he prefers strollers that hit me. He usually cries when the wheelchair is wheeled away from me, but in the wheelchair he only called me a couple of times, I rubbed his head, he looked at me and then the rest of the ride was fine. He's a bit picky about the comfort of his seat, as we've learned from car seat experiences. So I guess the seat is comfortable and he loves it. It makes him cry less and enjoy the ride more, and it makes my time more enjoyable too. Cons - * Area for sitting and standing. In any case, the oldest child must be in this area. The seat is very narrow and the straps on it just don't make any sense, I just took them off in the end. The belts actually land under the baby and my son who is 15 months old and was walking and walking very well fell down and basically his hands touched the ground and his body came out of the seat even though he was buckled up because his legs were weren't long enough to reach the footrest, and the straps and seat design just don't make sense. The footrest is very low, so the child has to be quite tall to use this area. They also have no place to stay. There are no handles for a child on the back. My kid is very busy and likes to move a lot so I thought this would be a good option for him and I think maybe it will as he gets older but right now I can't even use that part. stroller for him. There is also a cushion over the seat in the back that slides easily. I mean it's attached poorly so it just slides everywhere and that's just bad design. It would be nice if the cushion could snap directly into the seat, which would prevent slipping and help the child be even less stable when they can't reach the footrest. * There is a small window on the canopy. There is no Velcro or snaps to keep it up or down so it just floats in the wind. This was an easy fix by buying some magnetic snaps and sewing them on, but I only wish Baby Trend would have done it for me. I added magnetic snaps at the bottom to keep it in place and at the top to keep it in place. * Wheels. This stroller drives great. I've just noticed that the wheels look worn even after using the stroller a few times. I wish they were more durable rubber wheels and a bit bigger to make riding on different types of terrain easier. I fear that over time these wheels will wear out and the stroller will become unusable. That didn't happen, so it's just an issue based on the fact that the wheels don't look very solid. * Coupling with sidecar. I hate it so much! After driving the stroller for 30 minutes, my hands chafe and turn bright red. The material is cheap and awful, wish they used some kind of leather. Another easy solution, I found a leather case that I can put on to hide it but I just feel like if they had done it beforehand I wouldn't have to do it at all. So if you have more sensitive skin, the stroller handles won't work for you. In general, I like the stroller. There is nothing better you can get. I only use this on one kid because it makes shopping easier for me as he climbs out of carts. Even though I can't use the back of the stroller yet and I wish they had designed it a lot better, this stroller makes my life so much easier, especially for things like grocery shopping. None of the negatives were so severe that I would not have taken a stroller. I checked all the other sit and stand strollers before I bought them and I am still very happy with my purchase.
