The first device I received charged quickly; However, the blue light ring was blinking instead of glowing steadily. I contacted Anker support regarding this and they quickly sent me a replacement. The new one worked perfectly, with a blue light ring. I ran a temporary load speed test. The device charged my iPhone X from 7% to 76% in exactly one hour. Not bad considering I used my phone a couple of times during that time and the car I was in wasn't working. I used an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable as suggested. (Note that I've never heard others claim "double rings". This hasn't affected the ability to charge this device.)
