Review on Premium Snow Boots for Toddlers: Waterproof Winter Shoes with Faux Fur Lining & Outdoor Durability in Vibrant Pink (Size 10) by Lee Wilson

Very cute snowshoes for my 5 year old. The velcro held up very well (at first I was worried it might not stick well) and it sticks really well to icy surfaces. Kept him from slipping on snow/slightly icy ground when we were walking uphill last weekend (and he wasn't the most cautious 5 year old like most 5 year olds). The first day I noticed it had snow/ice on the front and in fact it fell into the boot, when I took it off I had to try to air dry the first night. But I didn't notice a problem on either day 2 (when he was wearing a snowsuit) or day 3, so I can't tell if it's a design flaw or user error (probably the latter). The boot also kept his feet warm, and since it was quite light and comfortable, he wore it around town even when there was no snow. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, now I just need to find my size to be nice and comfortable too. Update: Downgraded to 3 stars this year after a few games in the snow because it's more suitable for walking in the snow than snow games. We have run and played in the snow 4 times this year and almost every time he plays in the snow (tobogganing, running, sliding down the slope on his bum) the snow gets caught in the front of his boots even when he's wearing them a snow suit. The snow eventually gets wet in his boots, making a multi-day journey through the snow very tedious. If you are just looking for snowshoes for walking in the snow they definitely deserve 5 stars but if you are looking for them for playing in the snow I would recommend buying something else. We have another 3 day snow tour ahead of us and I'm already looking at alternatives.
