This hub just erased two expensive (Kingston) flash drives! I've plugged them directly into one of the Mac's USB ports on my Mac with no problems. Then I plugged one of the flash drives into this hub and it didn't work, which seemed odd as it just worked. I unplugged it from the hub, plugged it straight into my Mac and it didn't work. I just assumed the flash drive was dead. I then put another flash drive in the hub, which again just worked. AT THE SAME TIME - no response and after unplugging and plugging straight into Mac's USB port (where it was working a few seconds ago) no response. If this only happens to one flash drive, I would blame the drive. But since it happened two drives in a row, I blame the hub. Never had such an experience with a USB hub. BEWARE!
