I bought these for my 3 year old and they are developing her leg muscles quite well. they are incredibly HEAVY! Although I haven't weighed them, I'd say a boot weighs at least three. It's amazing that they made such a sturdy shoe for such small people. The shoes themselves are fine. The white rubber doesn't match the off-white sneakers, which annoys me. They're easy to clean and easy to put on for a squirming baby, so it's not all bad. I wouldn't buy them again but they aren't the worst toddler shoes I've bought from Revain.
