I usually use mousse, but I like this one much better. I recently switched to an inverted bob and the mousse gave me the hair I wanted when I first blow dried it in the morning, but it fell off by the end of the day. I thought I would give this volumizing gel and I LOVE IT. Exactly the lift I was looking for. Don't let the price put you off, it only takes a very small amount to achieve the desired hold. I only use one pump.
