If you're here because you're looking for an "ugly Christmas sweater” for your child to wear to school or an event, here's what you need to know. This isn't a sweater. The design is fun. This is how it looks from the side. But it's not what anyone would really call a "sweater". It's essentially a long sleeve shirt made from a spandex and polyester blend. With a thin fleece inner layer. Our little girl wasn't a big fan of this stuff. The shirt served its purpose on Ugly Christmas Day at school. We needed one urgently, so we ordered it. Next year we'll just find something similar to a sweater or sweatshirt ahead of time. Especially for the price you would think you were getting a real sweater. In short, we wouldn't recommend it unless you actually want something that looks like a long-sleeved team jersey instead of a bulky sweater.
