I love this dehydrator. After a lot of research, reading reviews and watching YouTube videos, I've decided to choose this one over the more expensive dehydrator because it actually has the best reviews (at least when I was researching). This machine helps me with my kitchen projects and really dries food more thoroughly than the Gourmia I've also used. I needed another because I do a lot of projects at the same time and I really enjoy it. We're going to be jerking around on this machine a bit, so we'll let you know how it goes. The fan is SUPER quiet. I thought the Gourmia was quiet, but I had to look at the blue car lights up front from my living room to see if it was actually working. We have a very small house so we would notice. I'm surprised because it has a great fan and good temperature control. I am very satisfied! March 2020 Beef Jerky turned out perfect! I cut the beef into about 1/4 thick slices and marinated in some smoke flavoring, soy sauce and other spices. There are hundreds of recipes on the internet. The 165 degree temperature setting in this dehydrator made it safe to cook jerky and WOW! I love this dehydrator even more!
