The case looks very nice and is easy to put on. The screen protector and keyboard case are nice additions. The sleeve does not protect your laptop from a direct fall. This is mainly to protect the laptop from scratches. I learned it the hard way. I have a feeling it could have some extra plastic on the sides to protect against that even if it were to snap off. But the design of the Mac makes things difficult. As an update, after the second fall the bottom of the case kept falling off so I decided to just remove it. I was going to take the top off to fit with the intention of purchasing a different case. I couldn't get the top off. I tried bending, using screwdrivers and ended up just breaking it in half to get it out, cutting my finger in the process. Not a happy camper. Other options considered. It took a long time, but it has its downsides.
