Review on Optimized Security Cable ๐Ÿ”’ for Touring Kayaks: Harmony Lasso by Brandon Vox

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great with some extra parts.

I have 2 Wilderness Systems Pungo 120's that are about $800 each so $100 for (2) lasso isn't too bad for insurance. There is 6ft 8in of cord from the point where the lasso connects to each end. This will help secure the kayak to the roof rack. You'll need to wrap 13ft 4in around the car rack to prevent someone from ripping the lasso off the ends and stealing your kayak. If you need to secure the kayak around a tree or pole, you will need an additional 15ft cable lock to keep the lasso in place to keep it from slipping off. The 15-foot cable costs an additional $18. We enjoy swimming in the rivers often and need to leave the kayaks unattended while we take the cars to the pickup location. I measured the hinges and they are 44" in diameter if that helps with sizing.
