Review on Metra 95-5600 Double DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 1995-2008 Ford/Mazda/Mercury Vehicles, in Sleek Black by Nick Kussmaul

I used this product to install a double din JVC turntable on a 1997 Mazda B2300. This worked very well for me. It was easy to fit and after cutting the edge of the truck radio bezel (on the dash side) to allow a two din radio to fit in (very easy with a dremel or razor blade) the radio held up very well. At first glance the kit looked flimsy, but the key was installing the right and left bezels on the correct side and making sure they were screwed into the radio housing correctly while screwing them into the original radio bezel (the part of the dash with the factory radio). The overlay included in the kit hides any gap well. Once the radio and dash were built into the dash everything was very solid and tight. Before you begin, make sure you have the correct tool for removing the radio (U-cable). I was happy with this kit.
