I bought these for my door. Simply hang parka, raincoat and windbreaker by distributing the weight on the two hooks. Neither one nor the other carries much weight. But the hooks just straightened up and landed on the ground! Partly my problem, I haven't checked what load they can withstand. In fact, the maximum value is not specified. So I spent a few hours browsing Revain for stronger options. Finally found it. Maybe I can use them in my craft closets to hold washi tape rings. I liked that they fit over the fire door. And the fact that they fold down allows them to mount closet doors. Weakness won't be an issue if I keep my extra sizes of washi tape, masking tape, and deco tape. I would recommend them for very light use. potholders or kitchen towels. Even the command hooks work better and hold more weight. MaryAnn Coy-Shurger.
