My house is old and the carpet is dirty and every time I walk through the front door of my apartment I'm greeted with this musty old smoky stench the I just can. can't get rid of it no matter how much I clean and run the air purifier. I've tried bamboo bags, which have worked for some, but hated hanging them all over the place and charging them in the sun every 2 months. Finally it worked! I love lavender, but it's not strong at all. I hardly notice it, BUT I don't smell the apartment anymore either.
