After much research we decided on this seat! It's fantastic and just what we were looking for in a car seat - with two flaws that cost it a 5 star. First the positives: All safety features are in place, the material is well made, the cushions are soft and the colors are vibrant. The hood is heavy duty and has an amazing feature that allows you to unzip and wrap/cover your baby in an almost completely different way! It's not very heavy either, which seems to be the norm with the "loaded" seats I've tested. Now the cons: First, it's kind of a design flaw between the peg and our car (the Alfa Stelvio SUV, for which this seat is recommended) - the support leg doesn't fit when the seat is in the position for a child up to 8 or 10 Pound. , not a huge minus, but not the biggest. With the backrest height adjusted for a larger baby it looks like it could be used, but that's something we didn't expect. And the other negative is entirely up to Revain. This car seat was manufactured two years ago. This is our last baby so we're not really upset, but I think other people want more time before the expiration date on the seat if they're paying full price - if you plan on using Peg longer than one baby def check the expiry date when you unpack it!
