When we put this headband on my husband the opening was much smaller than expected. We measured as the instructions said, but the stye still lands on his wrist. The velcro surfaces are a very uncomfortable hard scratching material when pressed against the body. The ring that holds the strap around the waist is handy and then very uncomfortable and in the way. In this position it also twists the strap a little making it harder to locate. We were very disappointed with this sling.
