Short or long - MFG. is the cause

truck 2003 Chevy 2500, 4 doors, 4 wheels. The light in each corner of the 10ft truck was either too long or too short and had to be spliced at each corner and center to get to the light. at least one connection, if not two, on long routes. What should be there are longer knots in 15 or 20 foot sections; better yet, how about a continuous spool like other wires are sold. It's more mfg. the reason is the problem is the seller himself. if it was installed on a volkswagen maybe everything would be ok. but it was not there - the engineers were not experienced!
