Review on Eddie Bauer Classic Blanket Queen by Pat Nard

Double size I don't need for a double bed but I use it as a bedspread. At just over 6ft 2", a regular "throw" allows me to either keep my feet warm and chest cool, or keep my chest warm and feet cool. Neither is possible in the heat! It allows And I can share it with someone else. There are many Sherpa duvet options out there, but I initially went with these anyway because of Eddie Bauer's (old) clothing supplier. They've strayed a long way from their roots but thought it was worth giving it a try and I'm not disappointed. They all feel light, but the fabric feels well woven and "tight" (it doesn't have any tears as I've seen in other reviews of similar products) and well sewn (they're all basically 2 layers of fabric, sewn together at the edges, like this one). No "quilting" or sewing inside the blanket. But I had no problems with the duvet ripping or one layer sticking into the other. I have a Fair Isle pattern and it's very pretty - red, white and black, it's not woven it's "printed" (the pattern is on the fabric and not the pattern, literally woven into the fabric itself, which is better ) but nicely done and didn't find any errors in the print itself. It is very velvety on the printed side and typical Sherpa fleece (all white) on the other side. This traps a lot of air making it VERY warm and very light weight, easy to carry from room to room. There was a slight odor on arrival (it's polyester) but it went away after one wash. Mine was clearly new (as it should be, although I've seen reviews of other products that suggest the person received a dirty, potentially returnable product), well packaged in the original packaging. I am very satisfied and would buy again without hesitation if needed. I just wish it was made in America (China of course if you're interested). I paid full price for this item so this is my honest, unbiased opinion. Hope this helps someone.
