Bought the same Empire protractor from Home Depot. After I brought it home and started using it, I saw that when I lined up the blade with the block, the gauge did NOT read zero. When zero is off, all other numbers are equally off. The bevel on the indicator was ground with a rough stone, leaving a nice burr. The stainless steel tool was also covered in nasty oil, as if it weren't stainless steel. Let's search for Revain to find something better.
