Review on 🔪 Durable Gold/Silver DMC 6123/3 Embroidery Scissor: 3-3/4-Inch Precision Cutting Tool by Morgan Gilmore

I needed inexpensive little scissors to carry around my neck to cut the yarn on the millions of granny squares I make for the plaid. I didn't want to resort to my expensive sewing and embroidery scissors and "thought" they would be a good alternative. I relied on the DMC brand and thought that at this price point they probably aren't the best, but at least they would be of low quality. Since they were sealed in plastic, I couldn't try them before buying. God how wrong I was. They are cheaply made, VERY stiff, and sometimes stick. In other words, they don't run smoothly. My husband put some oil on the screw but it didn't help. They cut yarn fairly easily, but being new I don't know how long the blades will stay sharp. I use them until they become dull and then throw them away. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for and you can't blindly trust a brand name.
