When I purchased this item there was no $69 "price list" and it is definitely NOT a $69 art kit. The quality of the material is good but standard (Crayola sells markers and crayons of the same quality). This set is not for the advanced artist. However, this is a really good starter kit for an aspiring artist. I bought it for my nephew and he loves it. The choice of colors and materials (markers, pencils, crayons, watercolors and oil paints) in one suitcase is huge. Also includes various useful items such as a ruler, scissors, eraser, etc. Please note that there is only ONE brush in the set, which is suitable for watercolor but not suitable for oil. The kit should contain a larger selection of brushes. Instead, the number of parts is inflated with useless things like two plastic paperclips (since there's no paper included, what's the point of adding them?) and a tiny, cheap sponge. But even with aimless pieces, the overall collection offers plenty of variety to support the creativity of the evolving artist.
