My 2 year old got a desktop for his birthday in January. It took him a while to get interested and then really start using the chart for its intended purpose, but after 4 months he is using it daily. I bought extra sheets for more variety and it was a great purchase. Because it is an intentional repetition, it easily repeats the sounds, names, and songs that each sheet gives. It can easily identify letters, numbers, shapes and animals. He also likes the different songs included in it. He's not 100% typing, pronouncing vowels and playing all the games yet, but he'll get there. I haven't introduced him to the technology yet. We don't watch much TV and he only knows about computers/tablets to chat with my family out of town. Vtech makes it easy to use the technology without the need for a digital screen. I know that in the end he will be much better technically than me, but I try to isolate him from that as much as possible. It was a great purchase and a great way to slowly and easily introduce your little one to learning technology. . We will definitely purchase extra sheets for larger children if needed.
