I bought this bag to have all my skincare and beauty products in one bag that folds easily to put in my suitcase/bag and then hanging in the closet for storage all my stuff from small hotel countertops. I get so frustrated when I travel because my previous makeup bag didn't fold properly when there was groceries in it. It was almost useless, except that it crashed slightly. This bag does exactly what it says on the tin and zips up for closure. It doesn't roll with velcro like others I've tried. When buttoned up, it looks like a regular makeup bag, and when unbuttoned, it hangs beautifully. I was worried that it wouldn't be strong enough to hold and hang all my stuff without breaking it, but I hung it in my bathroom to test it and I love it so much I have it have not decreased. It holds everything I need and doesn't tear. That's great!
