I like it a lot. It keeps my dog cool and doesn't drip water everywhere. It's hot with my dog. She will do what dogs do when they look from you to what they need, back and forth, until you give in and give them what they want. I took off her vest a few hours ago and she informed me that she wants to put it back on. So she's definitely a fan and it's just day one. The plus size is perfect and she weighs 65-70 pounds. Approximately 29 inches long from neck to tail. The width is highly adjustable for those with thick mids and chests. I received it today. My dog used both Ruffwear cooling vests so she understood the purpose of it as soon as I put it on her. She went straight to the front door. The REASON I bought this one is because it doesn't overwhelm everything like the others. My dog has health issues that cause him to frequently overheat even indoors with the air conditioner on. Wet cooling vests got water everywhere (car, tiled floor, bed...and everything she did). And the constant moisture on the skin isn't great, so we can only use these vests for a short time. The only real downside is that since the chest and back (up to the neck) are covered, you have to put the harness ABOVE and not under. . It works great with a collar or headgear placed high on the neck, such as a headgear. B. a halt tie or padded leash. Luckily, my dog only gets along well with a collar.
