The biggest design flaw I think is that the top of the leg that goes under the seat doesn't line up with the seat/back of the chair. This means there is a gap between the seat and the base of the chair. This is a problem because the upholstered part of the chair isn't structurally very strong and sags a bit even when you're initially sitting, and you feel parts of the metal base in a bony uncomfortable way, so it's guaranteed to sag and fall onto the metal base over time Time. . This leads to a very uncomfortable bony bowel movement. Also, these chairs tend to have a very TALL seat height (19 inches), while many chairs are 17-18 inches tall. It may seem small but can make these lower tables very awkward and uncomfortable to sit on.
