Just enough to replace my old flooring. The previous one was plastic and cracked. This one appears to be made of the same material, so nothing heavy ever gets rolled over it. In terms of installation, I am a woman in my 20s with no experience of electricity and using instructions and YouTube videos I was able to successfully install this new cover. To my knowledge, this flooring is smaller than most standard sizes you find at Home Depot and Lowe's, but it was the right size for my floor so it worked well.
