So I have really thick black hair and light brown/tan skin. My skin under my shirt is much lighter. I have had this product for 5 weeks. I use it twice a week every week. I know the directions for use say to use once a week and I think it's for liability reasons. I use it every other hair cycle: I shave, I use the laser, my hair grows back, I shave, I don't use the laser, my hair grows back, I shave, I use the laser again. It's very easy to use. So far my hair has grown back every time. Single. Time. BUT I can say that it is thinner. The description says you will see results in 8 weeks. I was going to wait 8 weeks to write this review but decided to write it now and update later. This is a process that you MUST be patient with, and it all depends on your skin tone, pain threshold, and hair color. The hair I noticed looks thinner under my chin and I use level 4 for this (5 being the highest). For me, it at stage 4, twice a week, black hair, light brown skin (medium skin tone seems to be the right term) and at 5 weeks with the only difference being that it's thinner means this process will take a very long time long time. . Look, this isn't done professionally. It's not a SUPER expensive product and I'm noticing a difference so I'm sticking with it. I love using it and would buy it again.
