I used it to fit an APC 425VA 6 outlet UPS to my new desk for a cleaner install with built in battery backup. Installation was easy, took me 10-15 minutes. Just figure out where you want to mount it, put tape on it and use the mount as a template to mark on the tape where to drill pilot holes. Then screw the 2 table brackets loosely, insert the main bracket piece and tighten the table brackets. Then use the supplied small wrenches to loosen the 2 metal UPS mounting brackets, install the UPS, slide the brackets back and tighten. Then tighten 2 nylon straps around the UPS. They can be snapped into place for a snug and secure fit. For larger UPSs, you can also adjust the bracket wider to accommodate the larger size. A NOTICE. Instructions call for a table that is at least 1" thick, so make sure your work table is thick enough for the screws provided. I've had it under my desk for a few weeks now and it's still very strong. I have a feeling it could fit in one of those big 10-12 port UPSs as the straps holding it in place can stretch quite a bit. The only downside is that depending on the design of your UPS, the straps may block some of your outlets. Although the mount is highly adjustable, you can bypass this problem if you encounter it. Overall I would definitely recommend this if you want a UPS with battery backup right on your desk.
