These are the first karaoke mics I've ever had so I can't compare them to others but they work quite well. I had an old mixer so I hooked them up to it for the EQ and it helped a lot. I also connected my Smart TV to a headphone jack mixer to make an equalizer. With Youtube you can find any karaoke you want. I added a small echo box that Revain needs to give some impact to the vocals. I use studio speakers from my recording studio with stands for my speakers so I end up with a pretty professional karaoke room. It sounds just as loud and sounds just as good as renting a room. The whole installation cost about $600 for everything, but it will give me years of pleasure, much cheaper than renting a room every time.
