Well, I don't have any babies in the house right now, but I have pets that like to sit in the back seat of my van and I have always thought it would be nice to have a mirror back there so I could see what's going on. The fact that this has a built-in fan is great because I really don't like running the car a/c, I just prefer fresh air. But when the a/c is off, even if the windows are open, the backseat area of the van gets kind of stuffy. So far the an seems to be working well, it's not super powerful, but it moves the air around. You do have to supply 3 AA batteries but they should last a long time and I'll probably end up going with rechargeables if I use this often enough. The straps were a little loose on my car, but I was able to make this fit well and it's secure enough so that it's not going anywhere. It's shipped with a nice film over the mirror too, so it arrived in perfect shape.
