Well, I don't have any babies in the house right now, but I have pets that like to sit in the back seat of my van and I have always thought it would be nice to have a mirror back there so I could see what's going on. The fact that this has a built-in fan is great because I really don't like running the car a/c, I just prefer fresh air. But when the a/c is off, even if the windows are open, the backseat area of the van gets kind of stuffy. So far the an seems to be working well, it's not super…

Pros
  • Haven't Used fan yet, but mirror is good.
Cons
  • This is a great product but the remote doesn’t work and it’s expensive for what you get.

A mirror with fan that has a limited tilting angle

The Brica Breeze Baby Mirror with fan is a nifty baby product with one minor problem. The Brica Breeze Baby Mirror comes with the mirror and the IR remote. Installing 3AAA batteries (not included) in the back is easy, just loosen the one Phillips screw with a screwdriver to remove the battery panel and pop them in, then screw the panel back together. There are two ways to attach the mirror to a car's headrest. The most straightforward way is to wrap it around the headrest and fasten the hook to…

Pros
  • Bought as a gift she really liked it
Cons
  • Requires battery replacement

For the price all pieces SHOULD work

Okay so I LOVE the concept and idea behind the fan. As someone who lives in tx we have extremely hot weather so the little fan seems to help with that a little and the mirror works great, I have a very clear view of my little one however I do think for as much as the fan costs it should at least come with a remote that works! I was disappointed to know that my remote no matter what we did will NOT work but other than that it seems like a good little fan

Pros
  • ‎13.5 x 2.5 x 12.5 inches
Cons
  • Could potentially cause a fire if the fan overheats

Not sure how useful the fan is

This seemed like a neat idea but really, I think the AC in the car makes the fan on the mirror unnecessary. I dont think the fan does much as far as providing cool air for the baby. The headrest strap doesnt fit on the headrest on my car. Most dont, so I can't really complain. The headrest is contoured with no squared sides etc, so theres no way to get anything around it or behind it. The mirror itself is fine.

Pros
  • ‎Remote
Cons
  • Requires an additional power source

Would not recommend.

This is a great idea but just doesn't work. First, the fan tilts which is great but not enough where it is even on baby. So even if you tilted both fan and mirror so baby can feel the fan, then you can't see baby in the mirror when you are driving. So love the idea. Hate that it doesn't work.Would not recommend.

Pros
  • Fan tilts to direct airflow where baby needs it
Cons
  • May not be enough airflow to cool down the entire back seat

Great For Keeping Baby Cool When First Getting In Car

This is a decent mirror with a nice concept. You can control the fan by pressing the button on the mirror itself, or aim the controller at it. The fan has two speed settings. It blows a decent amount of air out and does help to keep baby cool, especially when the car is station and engine is off. Obviously in 90 degree weather this wont work to keep any human cool enough in a hot car, but when you are starting your car up in the summer days and the AC hasn't gotten cool enough yet, this works…

Pros
  • ‎Glass
Cons
  • May not be able to cool down the baby enough during extremely hot weather

I'm In Two Minds: my feedback

I almost gave this two stars because there are no installation instructions, and no safety instructions. For a child's product, these are NECESSARY. Installation and use may seem obvious, but there are two flaps in the back that don't seem to serve any purpose at all. There is an adjustable strap to fit most headrests. The tilt on the fan is only a slight tilt, so you will have better luck just adjusting the fan in place. The remote works good, but the fan shuts off every 10 minutes so if your…

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May cause blurry vision when driving

Remote is pretty useless

Love this concept and I’m grateful to have this, but why, for the love of god, would they design this so that you have to press the button in the actual mirror before you can use the remote? If you get in the car and forget to turn it on from the backseat first, the remote is completely useless. If you’re on a long drive and take a turn so the sun starts beating down on baby, you can’t use the remote to turn on the fan. You have to pull over, push the button on the mirror, and THEN you can use…

Pros
  • Clear-sight mirror for superior reflection and a distortion-free image
Cons
  • Can be noisy while in use

The Brica Breeze Baby in-Sight Fan and Car Mirror is a nice idea, and I thought it might be a good addition for the back seat of our minivan, where it takes a little bit longer to get cool when the South Carolina sun is in full force (summers can be brutal here), but the lack of any kind of fan cover is kind of a deal breaker. I don't think it would cut the skin or anything like that (although I really don't want to be proven wrong), but I can just see one of my girls getting their hair caught…

Pros
  • Love the fan tilt. The remote is a lifesaver!
Cons
  • May not fit all car models

Remote stopped working

I loved the thought of having a remote for me to put the fan on when I’m not in the back. Unfortunately it stopped working with one try and is still not working.

Pros
  • Very good quality and Amazing. We can’t wait to use it for our car trip! My son loves it already
Cons
  • Can be distracting while driving

There is one very important thing that this item is missing. . . and that is a cover for the fan. Yes, the fan blades are plastic, but I still think you could get hurt and/or something could get caught in the fan.The fan tilts, slightly, up-and-down. There is a remote control for the fan. Three AAA batteries are required for the fan, and not included. One CR2032 battery is required for the remote, and is included. Made in China.

Pros
  • ‎Wipe with clean, damp cloth. Do not bleach. Air dry. Do not submerge in water.
Cons
  • May require additional installation efforts

Awesome for rear-facing kids!

I have a 2.5 year old and a 2 month old and we live in an area where summer temps are generally in the triple digits. These fans work wonderfully to circulate air in the back before the car is completely cooled, as well as keeping the cool air moving once we've reached a comfortable temperature. The fan only stays on for 10 minutes at a time, which is perfect for running errands. The remote needs to have a direct line if sight in order to function, so that's been an issue because sometimes we…

Pros
  • Crash-tested car mirror equipped with a two-speed fan to keep baby cool in the back seat
Cons
  • Adds additional weight to the mirror

Accident-causing remote!

The remote is completely worthless. In fact, it's worse than worthless, because the remote gives you the impression you can turn off the fan from the driver's seat without causing an accident, which you can't. So rest assured, with this product you can cool your child to the point of him screaming and then just listen to it for the next 10 minutes, or you can total your car. #WINNING! #not

Pros
  • ‎1.5 pounds
Cons
  • May get in the way of rearview mirror

Pretty good for AZ best in my review

The directions definitely help in installing as it wasn't entirely clear how to do so immediately. The fan is a great feature and why I purchased this mirror. However, the fan times out pretty quickly and I haven't yet mastered the remote use.

Pros
  • The fan feature keeps your baby cool on hot summer days during car rides
Cons
  • Can be a distraction to other drivers on the road

Good quality for the price

This product is definitely useful for driving in the car and viewing your baby if you're driving solo. I did had some difficulty with the remote and still to this day sometimes it does not work. I have to make sure I turn around and point it directly at the mirror and even then sometimes it doesn't always work. The fan is a great added accessory, although I did worry that my child might be injured due to the blade spinning so quickly but they are little plastic flimsy blades and it's far enough

Pros
  • Rear Facing Mirrors
Cons
  • Fan may be too weak to provide effective cooling
