Designed for one purpose: a luxurious shave without bleeding, and very well. I'm hesitating between Mach 3 and Mercury 34c. Mercury is soft and ideal for beginners, but he doesn't mind my steely curly mustache. Mach 3 was better. I have a 35 year old Walgreens butterfly razor that draws a lot of blood in ONE pass, sore, very irritated, I'm surprised she followed me. Proraso vs Hatchet, 3 rounds (also against wool) BEST shave of my life!. I have ordered a Roclwell 6c razor, I need more ax for this luxury item. By the way, it's best to fill my Proraso wild boar head brush out of the container and then shake it up in a bowl. Baby skin on butt with no ingrown hairs on this African American man. love it
