Review on 🔊 iHome iDL45 Dual Charging Stereo FM Clock Radio with Lightning Dock and USB Charge/Play for iPhone/iPod/iPad (Older Model, 30 Pin Compatible) by Adrienne Gonzalez

I am replacing my first iHome which has served me well for many years (5-10) with this current model. The previous block still works, but the buttons detach from their tabs, making them float and difficult to activate. This device is a different design so I don't expect that kind of problem and it offers a lightning connector for my current iDevices. I'm pretty sure the connector at the top is really for an iPad or iPhone without a case (I have a case), so my phone doesn't work even though it fits with an Apple case. The problem is easily solved by using the USB port on the back of the device with a 6 inch USB to Lightning cable. The device is easy to program with the iHome app and syncs the time to the device at 02:00 every day when the device is connected. The iHome app probably needs an update, but it only looks old on the outside. The biggest improvement over the old model is that the confirmation tone when turning the alarm on or off is significantly quieter than the model it replaces. In addition, the display is very easy to read and does not throw a lot of extra light into the room that is not needed. It was difficult to choose the right block after reading all the reviews of different blocks on Revain (everyone seems to hate everything) but after a few months of ownership I have no regrets about my purchase.
