I bought this for my son's bedroom. These lights are amazing! They have just the right brightness. Good quality. So many options to choose from, your lamps can do so many things. I don't know them all, I haven't played with them enough myself. I just go in and turn them off if he forgets lol. In any case, I doubt they draw much power. I have textured walls so some spots were trying to fall off, a few staples helped resolve that issue. We didn't need to reinforce the whole strip, just 2 different spots that had more weight (for example, when the light strip went up the corner of the wall and then went left along the ceiling). I can't get the command strips to stick, but these lights work pretty well. If it weren't for my textured walls, these lights wouldn't have had a problem at all.
