I hate those plastic canisters. Rotary valves break easily, caps loosen when they swell due to temperature changes, tongues break etc. I had one of these overturned in my attached garage and was filling my house with gas fumes and I decided I'd had enough. I went from one local store to another looking for an alternative. They were different brands but the same lousy design or just variations of the same lousy design. Then I saw a larger version of this jar on Revain and decided to give it a try. That's great. No leaking, no trying to unscrew a plastic cap or close a valve, everything happens automatically. It's hard to do justice to the description online, but everyone who got my hands on my gas bottle went out and ordered it. It is so good. The large 1 inch nozzle fills my 2.5 gallon lawn tractor quickly. I use it on a two stroke blower and a weed trimmer. True, they are expensive, but they are worth it.
