They do their job of protecting your album covers. Some other protective bags have better transparency and look better, in addition to protecting the jackets inside, these bags get five stars. They would have gotten 5 stars if the price was significantly lower than more transparent envelopes. Fits some gatefold albums, but not all. I typically use these for used records to prevent further damage to the cover, and more transparent gatefold sleeves for pristine covers or those with bright artwork. I prefer to use cases with a hole in the top because it has saved several albums from water damage from unforeseen plumbing outages; However, fitting the sleeve opening (these sleeves have no flap and are slightly larger than the average jacket itself) into the open end of the jacket provides better dust protection for the cover, but not for the vinyl itself. That's my mustard, now i suggest you and i both get off our stupid computers and play vinyl it's so much better for our souls.
