When I first bought my Profoto B1 kit I decided that 2 lights would be enough and if I need a back light or two I can use my Canon 600EX-RTs in optical mode to light them up activated by Profoto. After much research, I found out that Canon EX Speedlites are only optically compatible with each other. The purchased products did not work with the Canon EX-series Speedlites. I continued to search the internet, found the product on Revain's website and ordered two of them. I received them today (7-5-14) and immediately tested them on my Profoto B1 to activate them. It worked perfectly! Not only did it work perfectly, I left the speedlite in wireless mode so I could control the flash power with my Canon ST-E3 RT emitter and firing the speedlite at the power I manually set to the station had set.
