Review on SilverStone Technology External Supports TS12C by James Mangum

I tried 2 different items, both had the same problem. Both hard drives could not be turned on. Remove one disk or both disks and it will power on. Install the hard drive after power on and it will stay on. Too much hassle to remove the drive, then turn on the power and install the hard drive. The product comes with a USB 3.1 cable with USB-C connectors on both ends. My desktop PC doesn't have a USB-C port and it's been less than 3 months since I built it. If you try this product, you will most likely need a USB 3.1 USB-C to USB-A cable.
